Day 6338 viewsThe Road to Hana! Based upon the recommendation of my parents, we took the Valley Isle Excursions tour van and are VERY glad we did. It's a VERY narrow road - with only room for one vehicle in many locations (beep your horn!) - and too much to see. Our driver was Maui native Kekoa (Kekeoa?) and had a great sense of humor and exceptional knowledge of the region. He also had a 1957 Type I (Bug) and drag raced a 600+hp Bug at one time so we had plenty to talk about.
