Fuse tap!328 viewsThis is how to easily and safely tap into some power without compromising the stock wiring or running a long lead through the firewall. I cut the bullet connector off so I could pass the wire through the grommet hole and so I could use one of my own spade connectors. To be on the safe side, make sure the fuse tap can handle 25A to 30A minimum. A 10A fuse tap won't work! The bottom slot is for the placing the stock fuse while the top is for the accessory and thus the red wire leading from the fuse tap.

327 viewsMy original pulley lock that I got a previous mechanic to whittle out of steel for me. It's rough but it still serves me well to this day. This is what inspired me to design the newer version, using www.emachineshop.com CAD software and manufacturing.
Though it can be used with the engine out of the car, it makes the job much easier when the engine is in the car and the pulley fan needs to be removed.

326 viewsSolution: 1/8" cork gasket with a 1/16" stainless-steel washer under each mounting ear. This is a spacer, not really a gasket. The gasket material is used to hold the washers (well, along with some Gas-A-Cinch) and help prevent the mounting ears from getting torque stress during starting.
